The fascinating world of nature includes everything from water sources, soil and ending with such living organisms as plants and animals. Man himself is part of this natural habitat, to which, however, he not only managed to adapt, but which he largely changed to fit his needs.
World of nature
The Earth is a planet, which is already about 4.6 billion years old and which was formed, according to popular opinion in science, thanks to the Big Bang. It is already known that certain life forms can exist on other planets, but only the Earth can boast of having life on it and such a wealth of flora and fauna.
Great is the significance of nature, plants, and animals in particular. Their role in the global ecosystem will be discussed further. It is difficult to imagine how many physical, biochemical, geological and other processes have materialized during the existence of our planet. Changes in the earth's surface, climatic transformations have created conditions under which wildlife could appear: animals, from protozoans to mammals, vegetation, from a blade of grass to exquisite flowers, fungi, various microorganisms such as viruses and bacteria.
The role of the plant community in the overall system of life
Living organisms have a specific weight in any natural complex. They support the universal circulation of matter and energy, which is necessary for the existence of life. The direct participants in this process are plants. Green plantings determine not only the appearance of a particular area and perform an aesthetic function. Their significance lies in the absorption of carbon dioxide and the production of oxygen, without which the existence of animals and humans is impossible. Due to photosynthesis, plants are able to produce new organic substances.
In addition, they form the soil, they depend on the amount of water on the earth's surface and also the creation of various types of climate. Another big role that plants play in the life of humans and most animals is that they serve as food. Herbivores feed on greenery, and thanks to gardens and gardens, people produce cereals and legumes, vegetables and fruits, tea, etc.
The value of animals in nature
Not only plants, but also animals provide balance in the entire biosphere, affect its dynamic aspect. Animals inhabit all geographic zones and are found in various natural environments: land and air, land, and water. Depending on the living conditions, their appearance, morphology, level of development differ. But each of the representatives of the animal world in its own way is important. The value of animals in nature is determined by those specific functions that are associated with the natural instincts of these living beings.
Thus, invertebrates (insects, worms, ticks, etc.) are capable of forming soil. Their positive effect on the properties of the soil cover is manifested in the mixing of fine earth, the processing of plant residues, etc. Thus, the nutrient medium creates conditions for other microorganisms, plants. For plants, there is also another meaning of animals: in nature, it lies in the fact that animals (bees, birds, etc.) are involved in pollination of flowers and the spreading of grass and tree seeds. And most importantly: the number of plants is regulated by herbivores, and predators, in turn, carry out the natural selection of the latter.
Animals in human life
For whom else are animals vital? As is known, the value of animals in nature as a whole is indisputable, but man cannot live without them. First, they have always been one of the permanent sources of nutrition. They satisfy the need of the human body in high-calorie proteins that are involved in many processes of growth and development, as well as in energy production. In food, humans use meat from both birds and mammals, as well as invertebrates, most often crustaceans and mollusks. Milk can be obtained from cattle, which is used in the production of many other products.
Secondly, people also use animals to make warm clothes made from leather and fur. Of particular value are species such as arctic fox, sable, nutria, fox, etc. At the same time now, during the ongoing development of science and technology, the hair of animals can be inferior at times in quality to things made of artificial fur. The third important point: many large animals, people use as assistants in their farm. For example, donkeys, bulls, horses, camels, elephants can be tamed for difficult jobs: plow the field, lift and carry heavy loads, transport people and so on.
Friendship between humans and animals
It is impossible not to say a couple of words about the important role that animals play in human life, not only in terms of food, clothing made of fur and labor. We are talking about a completely different interaction - interaction on equal terms, as with our smaller brothers. There are so many touching stories about the friendship of man and animals. They give each other affection and care. Such friendship can not be described, words will not be needed - just look at how they behave in relation to each other. Some special non-verbal connection between them. Everyone knows the dedication of dogs that seem to love people unconditionally and endlessly. A four-legged friend will make a company and jogging in the morning, and will warm in the winter evening, and will be met at the threshold. Animals brighten up our loneliness.
Based on the data provided, nature, wildlife, plants for us are simply irreplaceable. Often we neglect them for the sake of our own pleasures and comfort - large-scale deforestation and the construction of houses, plants and cars that pollute the atmosphere, a huge amount of garbage on the streets and in forest-park zones … Nevertheless, care and protection of nature should be for us first plan, otherwise we risk destroying both ourselves and the entire planet.
